292. This section sets out the structure of associations, which are entities consisting of members of Urabba&nbsp;Parks and which have their own identity under internal law (as bodies with succession).
 
293. Subsection&nbsp;(1) provides that objects of Urabba&nbsp;Parks include the objects of associations to the extent they are not excluded as objects of Urabba&nbsp;Parks under the internal law, such as non-charitable objects.  The purpose of this provision is to provide for the admission of charitable associations and incorporate the objects of the association into the objects of Urabba&nbsp;Parks.
 
294. Subsection&nbsp;(2) includes registration table 8 which sets out places in the associations of Urabba&nbsp;Parks (item&nbsp;8) (association places). The placeholder character ‘e’ is substituted for the entity number of the association. Places listed include:
:(A) presidents (item&nbsp;8.0.1.x) and managers (item&nbsp;8.0.2.x) of associations, with ‘x’ being allocated in the order of number of separate members of the association based on the latest statistics of Urabba&nbsp;Parks – these places are used to determine precedence at official events;
:(B) auditors of campus government entities (item&nbsp;8.e.3.0.x);
:(C) associations and partnerships of associations (item&nbsp;8.e);
:(D) monitor of an association, being an officer of the Executive Government of Urabba&nbsp;Parks or a jurisdictional division, or a campus government entity appointed under law to monitor the governance of the association (item&nbsp;8.e.0.x);
:(E) committees of management (item&nbsp;8.e.1.0), its senior members (item&nbsp;8.e.1.0.y), senior member of a committee of management being a member of the committee (being appointed to a particular place having membership of the body under the rules of the association or unless otherwise provided under the rules of the association by the members of the body, or a person taken to hold such office, despite resignation from the office or having ceased to be a member of the body, where the body has not since met or a new occupier of the place has not otherwise been appointed) (item&nbsp;8.e.1.0.y) and members of committees of management (item&nbsp;8.e.1.b.a):
::(i) elected by members of Urabba&nbsp;Parks occupying a place falling in this table in respect of the association, with each separate member entitled to vote having one vote only, and who is removable by those members;
::(ii) enrolled by a member succeeding or presenting to a place falling this table in respect of the association; or
::(iii) appointed by such persons;
:subcommittees (item&nbsp;8.e.1.b), officers of subcommittees (item&nbsp;8.e.1.b.0.y) and members of subcommittees (item&nbsp;8.e.1.b.a);
:(F) manager of an association (item&nbsp;8.e.2.0.y);
:(G) staff of an association (item&nbsp;8.e.2.x) – this is an entity management place (category&nbsp;N);
:(H) auditors (item&nbsp;8.e.3.0.x);
:(I) personnel of an association who are solely or predominately engaged in the determination of matters relating to contraventions of rules of the association or resolution of disputes among members of associations (item&nbsp;8.e.3.x);
:(J) persons who may act as or for members of an association (item&nbsp;8.e.4) – this allows for associations to maintain an approval process over members;
:(K) members of an association (item&nbsp;8.e.5);
:(L) places succeeded to by ordinary members of associations (item&nbsp;8.e.6.x);
:(M) places succeeded to by patron members of associations (item&nbsp;8.e.7.x);
:(N) places succeeded to by service members of associations (item&nbsp;8.e.8.x);
:(O) places succeeded to by affiliate members of associations (item&nbsp;8.e.8.x); and
:(P) other places of an association (item&nbsp;8.e.10.x).
