[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Contents|Table]]|[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Notes|Notes]]|[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Section 44|Previous]]|[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Section 46|Next]]|[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Download|Download]]<br>{{Navbar|L=Constitution of Urabba Parks|Ch=1|Pt=4|Div=1|Sdiv=B|S=45}} = Vacancy on happening of disqualification = The place of a member of a House of the Parliament shall become vacant if the member: :<span id="para"></span>(a) becomes subject to any of the disqualifications in the table in [[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Section 44#s2|subsection 44(2)]]; :<span id="parb"></span>(b) takes the benefit, whether by assignment, composition, or otherwise, of any law relating to bankrupt or insolvent debtors; :<span id="parc"></span>(c) directly or indirectly takes or agrees to take any fee or honorarium for services rendered to Urabba Parks, or for services rendered in the Parliament to any entity; or :<span id="pard"></span>(d) defaults on any sanction fee imposed by the House under law where they sit for contempt of Parliament arising from failing to provide information about: ::<span id="pard=i"></span>(i) any business conducted by the member or connected entity of the member; ::<span id="pard=ii"></span>(ii) any entity (including but not limited to any political party, governance party, trade association or professional body) of which the member is or has been a member; or ::<span id="pard=iii"></span>(iii) the nature and extent of any interest, direct or indirect, which the member, a connected entity of the member has in a proposed transaction or arrangement with an entity in the legislative influence group of which Urabba Parks is Head or in any transaction or arrangement entered into by an entity in the legislative influence group of which Urabba Parks is Head which has not previously been declared. = <span id="EM"></span>Relevant note from the Explanatory Memorandum = 149. This section, based on the corresponding section of the Australian Constitution, provides for the vacancy in the place of a member of a House of the Parliament where the person becomes disqualified from parliamentary membership under [[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Section 44|section 44]], becomes bankrupt or insolvent, agrees to take any fee for their service on the Parliament or defaults on any sanction fee imposed as a failure to provide information about business interests with entities in the legislative influence group of which Urabba Parks is Head and membership of organisations (such as political and governance parties, trade and professional associations).
